One evening belongs to the bar. Four pours, each one built at the mahogany carved in 1876 and carried to your table by hand — a journey out of the Spanish ports, across the Atlantic, and west from Denver, told in the order the glasses arrive. Everything else stays open menu.

The Provenance
Carved in Spain.
Denver, then Sacramento.
The bar in this room was carved from Spanish mahogany in 1876 and shipped across the Atlantic. It spent its early life in Denver, where it was owned by a survivor of the Titanic — and it stayed there until the Fat family bought it, crated it, and brought it west into this building on Front Street, where it has stood ever since.

Frank "Fats" Fat found the bar in Denver and had it carried to Old Sacramento — the same mahogany his family served behind for decades, and the same mahogany every pour is built at tonight.

1876
Carved
A bar is built in Denver — Spanish mahogany, brass fittings, the year of the American Centennial. The city is a boom town of silver and rail, and the bar stands at the center of it, pouring for anyone who walks in off the dust.
The Boom
The Silver City
Denver in the 1880s — the railroad, the mines, the money. Margaret Tobi Brown arrives as a young woman from Hannibal, Missouri, and marries into the silver that's pulling wealth out of the mountains. The bar doesn't know her name. But it's in the same city, breathing the same air.
1912
The Unsinkable
April. The Titanic goes down. Margaret Brown — by then they call her Molly — pulls an oar in Lifeboat No. 6 and comes home to Denver. She raises money for the survivors before the ship is even cold. The bar has been gone from Denver for years by then. But the wood remembers the city that raised a woman like that.
Westward
The Long Road
The bar is carried west — disassembled, crated, shipped by rail to Sacramento and reassembled inside a brick building on Front Street. It arrives in a city that's already been burned down twice and flooded once. The bar fits right in.
Tonight
What the Wood Knows
The mahogany is still here. The brass is still here. A hundred and fifty years of the West have walked past it — the silver miners, the flood survivors, the jazz piano, the couple in the corner booth. You're next.

The host meets you at the door with a wax-sealed card bearing your name and the four pours of the evening.

One Seating
Fifty seats, all seated together. The doors close and the room becomes a single table.

The Piano Begins
Solo jazz piano from the corner — a repertoire kept to 1910 through 1912. Nothing after.

Pours One & Two
Cava, then Albariño. Both built at the 1876 bar and carried by hand. Order food as you like — the kitchen stays open the whole evening.

The Ledger
The handwritten page of library vintages is brought to the table. Choose a bottle and the cellar board follows.

Pours Three & Four
Rioja and Bordeaux, poured as the room drops to candlelight and the piano turns minor.

Last Call at the Bar
The final round is poured standing at the mahogany, where the evening started in 1876.
